Welcome to Our Members

The start of the 2012 Lacrosse season is just weeks away! Welcome to families who are new to lacrosse this year. I hope your experience is pleasant and look forward to hearing your feedback.  I trust you will soon join the hundreds of other Bramptonians who have fallen in love with Canada’s national summer sport.

Thank you to our returning players, coaches, parents, volunteers and all those in the extended lacrosse family for your enthusiasm and support during the 2011 season.  We look forward to more of the same in 2012.

Connecting With Our Members

As we strive to increase community awareness and communication, two new initiatives have been undertaken which we believe will improve communication between the association and its members; the first being a regular e-newsletter and the second being this new web site launched in March 2011.

2011-2012 BMLA Executive

A number of Board changes were made during the Annual General Meeting held October 25, 2011. More importantly the Executive has received much needed help from the membership.  I extend my heart-felt thanks to the 2010-11 Executive members. Your hard work and dedication helped deliver a very successful season.

This year, the BMLA Executive is a mix of new and returning members who are working together to promote, grow, enhance and continue to deliver a lacrosse program we can all be proud of.

What's Coming Up?

One of the BMLA’s Heritage goals is to promote and sustain youth lacrosse in Brampton, providing opportunities for citizens and corporate partners to contribute to building a healthy and caring community through lacrosse.

With communication, promotion and taking advantage of recruitment opportunities, we aim to increase participation among Brampton youth, particularly in the life blood of our organization, the house league programs, as we continue to ensure we service the needs of the City of Brampton.

Sincerely yours,

Albert Rehanek, President
Brampton Minor Lacrosse Association
