Early and City Registration opportunities are now finished.  You can still register your child for the 2012 BMLA lacrosse season at THE BOX LACROSSE STORE. Please check the store website at www.theboxlacrossestore.ca for store location and hours of operation.

Last day to register for the house league programs (excluding Fall Field) is Friday May 18, 2012.

The BMLA is holding registration sessions for the upcoming 2012 season. Below are the dates and times of the Registration opportunities being offered, important notices, program fees and age groups:

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! FREE LACROSSE STICK FOR FIRST 40 NEW PLAYERS!

Again this year, thanks to a sponsorship agreement with The Box Lacrosse Store, the BMLA will supply a FREE STICK to the first 40 new players who register (this is on a first come – first served basis).

Commencing February 6, registrations will also be accepted at The Box Lacrosse Store (excluding the weekends of Feb 24– 26 and March 9 - 11).  Check www.theboxlacrossestore.ca for store location and hours of operation. Out of town participants may not register at The Box Lacrosse Store.  Please see note below.

Proof of Birth: A copy of a “Proof of Birth” document (Birth Certificate, photo Ontario Health Card, or Passport) must be provided at the time of registration for players who wish to participate in a new program (where the member did not participate in 2011).  THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.  PLEASE COME PREPARED.

Payment Information:   Cash and personal cheques only accepted at City/BMLA Registrations.  Cash, debit and credit cards only (no personal cheques) are accepted at The Box Lacrosse Store. 

Tryouts/Workouts:  In order to be eligible to participate in a tryout or workout, you must be registered with the BMLA in the current playing year.  (Orientation and “Give it a try” sessions the exception - a signed waiver is required to participate).

Representative and Team Ontario Prospects: The OLA has advised all associations that players planning to compete for a position on a representative team or Team Ontario should register as early as possible.  This allows player (and bench) cards to be processed in time for Team Ontario tryouts and early rep tournaments.

Non-resident Players:  Your release must be issued from your home centre, received by the BMLA President and approved by the appropriate BMLA Program Co-ordinator (Field / Box and Rep / House League) and the Executive, prior to attending a registration. You must register at one of the four City Registration dates indicated above.  The Box Lacrosse Store will not be able to process your registration.

** There is a mandated City of Brampton Out-of-Town fee charged to all non-resident participants in all programs. Non-residents are required to register at one of the four City Registration dates indicated above (not at The Box Lacrosse Store).
