Information for Referees and Officials

2012 Referee Clinic Information can be found on the Ontario Lacrosse Officials website at http://ontariolacrosseofficials.ca.

A Zone 10 Box Lacrosse Referee Clinic will be held in Brampton at Turner Fenton Secondary School on March 24, 2012.  All returning referees are encouraged to pre-register with the Ontario Lacrosse Association.

Anyone taking a 2012 Box lacrosse referee clinic and intending to work for Brampton Minor Lacrosse must first contact the BMLA Referee-In-Chief (RIC), Brenda Edwards at ric@bramptonlacrosse.ca.

Please be advised that if you take the Box Lacrosse Referee Clinic without contacting the BMLA RIC, you are not guaranteed games with Brampton Minor Lacrosse.

Congratulations to Our 2011 Representing Officials

Along with the great job our group of referees does at the House League, Field and Box Zone level games, we have had a few referees represent Brampton in 2011 at Provincial, National and World Championships. This is a start of their names.

If you know someone that is missing please forward the details to the President.

For Volunteer Officials, Timekeepers and Game Scorekeepers

If you are parent, player, or volunteer who works the time clock, fills in the game sheet or operates the shot clock you will be very interested in these new training tools that will help you gain confidence in these roles.

For those who have carried out these volunteer duties in the past, it will be a great refresher and reference for recent changes in the game.

Thank you to the Ontario Lacrosse Association this presentation that was shared at the OLA's AGM this spring.

A BIG THANKS TO ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS!  YOU'RE THE BEST!
