  • Ben Hughes the 2019 Cameron Crighton Memorial Award Winner

This years recipient of the Cameron Crichton award is Ben Hughes. During the 2019 house league season, much like Cameron, Ben consistently displayed respect for his teammates and coaches, worked extremely hard, and set a fantastic example for the other players around him. Additionally, Ben was a fantastic help to coach Brock while working with the younger paperweight age group. Ben's devotion to the game of lacrosse is truly remarkable, and everyone at the BMLA is extremely proud of his efforts over this past season. Congratulations Ben!
  • 2018 Cameron Crighton Memorial Award Winner Aaron Hughes

This year's recipient is a young man that I first met 3 years ago. At the time he was a rough and rowdy teenager who had an obvious love for the game of lacrosse. He played hard with a bit of an edge. But his passion was always very evident. In the following two years this young man has grown leaps and bounds in all areas of his game, but nowhere has that been more evident than his attitude towards his fellow players. He has shown great leadership skills, especially when helping younger and less experienced players. He has become a great ambassador for our sport and I look forward to big things from this fine young man. It is our honour to present the 2018 Cameron Crichton Memorial Award to Aaron Hughes. --Ron Evans
  • Kyle Marion 2016 Cameron Crichton Award Winner

Kyle Marion has been playing lacrosse for most of his life. He has always been very hard working, honest and respectful player to his teammates and his competitors. His love for the game of lacrosse is unchallenged. His passion to play this game has not waned. But through it all, he has stayed true to form. Whether it is travelling around the province representing his hometown of Brampton, or playing in our House League, his attitude stayed the same. HE never lost the sense of pride in his team and the honour to the game. But his most endearing quality may be the respect he has shown to the great hame of lacrosse itself. I could not think of anyone more deserving of the Cameron Crichton Memorial Award than Mr. Kyle Marion. Ron Evans
